Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

I just bought this incubator about a week ago and added 12 chicken eggs on Monday the 8th. I bought the eggs from someone else and the chicks will be mixed breed. General hatching question: what is the ideal humidity range? The paper with the packaging said 50%. Does this sound right? Also, I was wondering how many times I should candle the eggs? Thank you!

Yep, I keep mine between 20-50%.
I candle on days 0, 7, 10, 14, 18, tracing the air cells each time to help evaluate moisture loss.

Here's some good reading about incubation:

50% is fine, I usually start mine around 45% and I monitor air cell growth to see if I need to adjust the humidity. You can candle as often as you would like just wash your hands thoroughly before handling.

Thank you for all of the resources, I will definitely check them out. Sounds good, I did trace the air cells before I put them in the incubator on Monday.
