Hey, so the first chick just came out. Seems to have a bit of unabosrbed something hanging from his bum. Here is a pic. I haven't personally seen this before. Will it be healthy? Should I do anything? Please advise

I just got an NR360 the other day, and I set some eggs yesterday. This is my first hatch, and I'm a little nervous, but I'm also really excited!

Has anyone used these before in a wood stove heated house? I've had great luck with my small Brinsea, but need to upsize this year and can't afford the larger Brinsea units at this point.

I have. I know the instructions gives temperatures that the room your incubator is in ideally shouldn't go above or below, but my room fluctuates, and I've had development and babies even still.

So I did a thing and ordered 12 BBS Cochin eggs that should be here Sat-tue. My husband may freak maybe he won't notice they were shipped.

What do I need to do before I put them under Ditzy and in the incubator? Figure I will try some in both spots.
