I've been raising black copper marans since 2014. I figured I would try to see if there was an interest here. Eggs pictured show ones I'm most proud of. The male pictured is the roo I use to breed. You can check out my facebook page marysmarans for more information and just general info about raising marans. Thank you! I hope my marans bring you as much joy as my birds have brought me over the years.

12 Eggs Shipped from NY $45.00/doz OBO

I'm looking for some copper marans hatching eggs. I really only can handle 6. Do you sell 6 and can you ship to California from there? That would be a long trip and I don't know how long a fertile egg will be "good" and under what conditions. ?????

Hello, I would like to buy some copper maran hatching eggs. Will they be as dark as the ones pictured?
Thank you!

The post office at this time will not deliver any hatching eggs/poultry to CA due to the Newcastle disease there. Here is a link to the information. I have not seen a lift on the ban as of today.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) is not allowing shipments of live birds (all) or hatching/embryonated eggs into or out of zip codes 90000-93599 in California. For more information: https://postalpro.usps.com/node/6643

Thanks, you said it all. Being in California I do know about the Newcastle outbreak. I am in Northern California and not in any zip code mentioned (southern California). I'm in Butte County zip 95966. Newcastle is also in Arizona right now. There was also a case in the SF Bay Area in March. :hmm Scary stuff.

Yeah it's so sad to see it happening :( . I hope it ends soon. I wonder if anything could have been done early on to stop the spread?

I don't know, people are people after all. The case in the Bay Area and the one in Arizona were found to be the exact same strain as the ones in Southern California. That would imply that someone transported a diseased chicken or chick or poop or something. All California bird shows have been cancelled for the year and we all are saddened but also ever vigilant to maintain biosecurity. No chickens at the fair this year! :sick
