I stopped by the Maharishi foods store today, for curiosity more than anything. I bought some dandelion tea while I was there, as well as some Couscous. I've never heard of either one

So, what I need to know is... Has anyone ever fixed this stuff before? And if so, how do you do it? Is it served like rice? I'm totally clueless here...

PS- In case you're wondering, I'll try anything once :p

boil water
add appropriate proportion of couscous
combine thoroughly, quickly (swirl pot a couple times)
remove from heat
cover
let sit for 5-10 min.

add whatever you want. I do sun dried tomatoes (in oil), artichoke hearts, seasoned salt, vineagrette salad dressings, chopped veg, toasted pine nuts, pesto, chopped herbs... whatever you like that doesn't need a lot of cooking (or pre-cook, then toss in). Mix thoroughly.

It's very filling.

1 can chicken broth
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic

Bring to boil, dump in box of couscous, turn off burner and let sit 5 minutes, fluff with fork.

I can't wait to get home and try this stuff....

The chix broth sounds delish! The tomatos... YUM! The artichoke hearts... not so much

Thanks everyone, for the responses.

it is so easy and if you season the water with a little butter and cumin and basil and parmesean cheese. mmmmm so good.
