How to know if a silkie is true black?

I mean, without breeding to white. I'm thinking about ordering some black silkies from Ideal Poultry and I wanna know if I'm getting a true black. They state on their website that their chicks are purebred so does that mean that the black silkies have no blue in their genes?

Black doesn't hide blue so if they aren't blue or splash then they won't be carrying blue.
You can get blues that are so dark that they appear black but I'm sure a place like ideal is keeping their black lines separate from their blue lines.
