Hoses are different now, doesn't taste the same. But if you do try it, let the water run for a few mins first. It sweeps out any bees and makes sure the water is cool and not hot from sitting in the sun

Exact opposite here...everyone's a homebody these days (at least at my place - some family members can hardly be bothered to go in the backyard, even on a nice day).
