I need some advice from you seasoned chicken keepers. I noticed my first-in-command rooster was limping, so I inspected the offending foot. It appears to be normal, except the pad is swollen. I saw no indication of bumblefoot, no cuts, no tenderness when bending foot (would he show tenderness, I don't know?). It has been a couple weeks, and he does not appear to be getting better. I have separated him from the flock, as he was getting picked on by second in command rooster. Not sure what to do besides let him rest.
Thoughts? In pics, the injured foot is second.
