I did go out and put leg bands on the 4 BC cockerels. The one has white in his tail feathers so he is gone for sure. That makes my decision easier. I want to keep 2 of the 3 so I have a backup. I think I have 5 BC pullets from last year. Eventually I want a solid BC pen to breed out the white. My main goal for sure!

Hi everyone! I have to say, sometimes I hate roosters but then I love them again! Lol I do not know how it happened but the one pen of cockerels got in with the main pen. So everyone looks so scruffy. I have 2 blcm and 4 bc cockerels. I am going to put leg bands on them tonight. Then hopefully get some pictures tomorrow. Would you all help me decide which to keep? I am pretty sure the 2 blcm can go. I think tonight might narrow it down more when I can get my hands on them. I do want to keep the least white underfluff or white in tail. I am trying to breed that out.

I won't be any help as far as an 'expert' opinion but would love to see them.
Do they all have the white underfluff?

I posted some pictures but took them down. They where not good pictures. I am going to try and get better pictures today and post them.

I hope this helps. Better Idea of what they look like. The one looked like it had a couple sprigs in the pictures but it doesn't just fighting marks. From when they got in the other pen. I think my problem is I like them all! The orange band is the head cockerel. As that the one challenging me but under control so far.

The first 2 pics. Purple band? His copper is to die for! Does he have any white on him? I'm not much help in the critique area but he looks very nice.

Thank you! I haven't put anything on YouTube before. I do really like him. I may setup pens and put one in each. I just don't want to regret getting rid of the wrong one. That would make 4 counting the main rooster.

Let's play guess what happened to the 2 blcm and the one bc with white in its tail! The three that I am keeping for now were on attack mode protecting the others. Normally they would be trying to kill them.
