Is this a Black Australorp?

Australorp chicks do not have a white spot on the head.

Barred Rock chicks are black and have a white spot on the head.

Black Sex links the male chicks are black with a white spot on the head and the females do not.

How does this chick differ from the other Australorp chicks?

Looking at pictures of baby chicks on google of various breeds of black chickens. It appears that they can vary a lot in color....some being a mix of black and lots of yellow and other chicks being almost totally black. So I think it could be an Australorp too even though it doesn't look like a typical australorp chick. I did come across a pic of a Black Copper Maran chick that looked similar to your chick.

Is the chick from a hatchery?
