Most definately a brown leghorn pullet, not an EE roo. Me happy.

Not sure if I should start a new thread or just post here so ... here's hoping!

We just got a purebred blue ameraucana rooster and noticed he doesn't have spurs. He's a juvenile and just started crowing. Will he be getting spurs or is this part of this breed? Couldn't find info anywhere about this.

Give him some time, he will grow his spurs out eventually.

I'm sure your rooster is just young. They get big, crow, do all that rooster stuff... then get the spurs...

Yeah, it will take awhile for the spurs to grow. I have a nearly year old EE roo that only has 1/2 inch spurs.
