Hello! A gentleman in Lucasville, Ohio gave me an amazing looking rooster this evening. I finally have a rooster to look after my 5 hens. I have never raised any Easter Eggers or Ameraucanas before so I have no idea which this is. He said it was sold to him as an Ameraucana but it probably came from TSC or RuralKing so who knows if that is actually true. I am hoping the fine people on here can help me out a bit! I think it is a very large Blue Splash Wheaton but I could very well be wrong. Honestly, this is probably the largest rooster I have ever owned. I have no idea if it is an Easter Egger or Ameraucana though. Any help with my rooster would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. He will be breeding with Light Brahma's and Sapphire Gems. Already picturing a Light Brahma with muffs and a beard. Can't wait!

Also, He is only 8 months old, is he still growing?

Thanks Folks!

True Ameracaunas have pea combs. Yours does not, so assuming he comes from a colored egg line he is EE. It is very possible he was sold at a TSC as an Ameracauna.
Sorry it isn't a very good picture. He actually does have a pea comb, it is just huge and was laying over on itself. I'll get a better picture of his comb.
