My friend is getting me in so much trouble! She saw some Isabella leghorns at a local feed store and I just had to have some I’d love to see pics and hear what you like/don’t like about them!

I'll have to search for pics of the trio I had
Ha ha hah.
Crayolas might be more effective?
Oh he’s handsome!!!I have just one, and he's a cockerel, but he's a lovely addition to the flock. He looks gorgeous, sounds comic (toots; squeaked as a youngster) but he's first to call everyone to dinner when I take it out. He's a good subordinate to the dominant roo, and stands 3rd out of 4 in their hierarchy - positions established by who runs from whom rather than by fighting (as yet). He's the best flyer in the flock (regularly flies up 8 ft to a branch in the holm oak, where he crows, and has been seen flying >16 ft horizontally), and a good lookout and tid-bitter.
He'll be 1 in the first week of June, so these are all juvenile attributes and behaviours. I expect we'll find out what he's like as a dad this summer...

Such gorgeous birds I’m excited to see mine grow! Sassy little things lolThey were all pretty young at this point. Hamilton, my male, had wing patch pretty bad, but the females didn't ever get poor looking.
