I'm not particularly happy with one of my girls. I don't mind them inside but today she came in and peed on the floor.

100 pound tortoises have about a gallon of water and solidified urates locked away in their bladders and any given time.

You would have to build them a heated shed. Depending on the species, the majority of torts hibernate. Lots of people just toss 'em in the fridge for the winter (no, really). Sulcatas don't hibernate or really burmate and need to have a 70F or warmer floor all winter, even though they're dumb and will go out in the cold during the day.
