The dog was never normal after.

I do not blame the dog. Some things you just don't get over.

He would bite at the cows hooves, run in front of tractors, and chase skunks and porcupines.

One of my friends banded a goat kid when he was only a couple weeks old. I always thought he seemed to be a bit more "bucky" than the others. As it turns out, he got one of the does pregnant later on, so there was that. He must have missed getting the whole of both testicles into the band.
My friend was really surprised because he considered himself nearly an expert when it comes to banding goats.

One more thing… banding only works on males, hence spayed & neutered.

Not when he would actually bite the hooves and ankles and draw blood. Dog got kicked multiple times. He was just stupid

He really sounds exactly like a dog. They’re pretty dumb, botched banding or not.

But none of their other farm dogs drew blood or ran in front of tractors and ran after porcupines. I don't think Thor would even be that dumb, and that's saying something. This dog was just "special"

I just spent a few hours mowing. Doesn't feel any cooler.

I mowed my front the other day. The first of 2024. The first since November maybe, or late October. I have some years had to touch it up in the months of Dec.,Jan., Feb., But regular mowing is usually over in October or November.

Do you have to mow year round, or do you get a 2 week break in there somewhere?
