Does anyone have Frizzles? Could I breed a flat feathered to a frizzle and then the baby back to the frizzle to get more frizzles?

Does anyone have any pics of really good quality Jap chicks just hatched, with the really short legs? Would love to see what they look like on hatching.

I have frizzle japs. Frizzle is a dominat gene, so a frizzle to a regular should give you half frizzled and half normal chicks. Of course then you have to count in the short leg gene, so you will eventually get some short leg frizzle chicks. I have a frizzle mottled rooster in with my mottled hens right now. I also have some barred babies from the same rooster on barred hens, so they are not pure for barring. But if I take one of them and breed it back to the barred hens, I should get pure double gene for barring, if I understand it right. The problem will be determining which ones have the double genes. They should come out lighter. I will be hatching some shortly, and will try to get some short leg pictures.
