You are right about that! One of my chicks pipped at night and zipped only a few hours later and she was out. She was in a hurry to see the world!

Aw, Cruella, how's she looking these days?

She's doing very good! She's done with raising the latest bunch, so she'll be back in lay shortly (if not already, since I'm getting some egg production out of the mix breed bantam pen). She's happiest when caring for chicks, or brooding. She now once again tolerates Lady Gaga being around her, since she's been done with his kids for a few weeks. The chicks have now been demoted to the high branches of the olive tree, and the perches. Most will be given away or eaten shortly, and I'll only be keeping one or two of her daughters

Yes I now have 2 that have pipped the shell. This is going to ve long day I just saw the two eggs rock back and forth.

Thanks I'm wore out ! And he /she is moving all over the incubator chipping. Maybe that will wake up the rest.
