Is this still going to happen even with Avian Influenza being reported in Michigan?

As far as we know right now, it is still on. I'm signed up for MDARD updates on the AI so I'll update this thread as I get information.
In the meantime, practice good biosecurity and keep your flock as safe as possible.

I'll be happy to get together even if we can't have birds there.
And right now I'm thinking that a few of my birds need to move on, because they are all inside because of this AI situation.

Black crabs that live on palm trees. The ones I ate were in PR. Kids would climb the trees and catch them. There were shacks around the island that served them. Not fast food joints...wooden shacks near beaches far away from populated areas. But this was back in the mid-80's.

No Mom and Dad were Navy. I was in the USCG for 31 years. PR was a hotspot for drug ops. Local food from the natives was a treat albeit maybe not totally sanitary.

Hi!! So I'm new to Michigan and to chicken life, but I'm excited for this. Not entirely sure what to bring, maybe some plants? Some kind of food? Definitely open to suggestions
