Hey everybody,

Here is my August 2018 setup!

We live Conyers, Georgia (30 miles east of Atlanta) on 5 acres of land.

We currently have 5 buff Cochins Bantams, 2 barred Cochin Bantams, 2 blue Cochin Bantams, 1 red Cochin Bantam, 1 golden laced Cochin Bantam, 2 silver Sebright Bantams, 2 black Japanese Bantams, 2 buff Silkies, 1 black silkie, 1 Old English Game Bantam and a Mini Rex rabbit living in this pen.

Our house was an old play house we had converted into a chicken house. It's pretty spacious and roomy and Sue Ellen absolutely loves it. We have nesting boxes that can be open from the outside of the house for easy access.

The pen on the bottom has three levels of wire: Horse, chicken and hardware cloth. We have had many Pitbull attacks so we are trying to be prepared. I also put sticks, boards, bricks and rocks to line the bottom of the pen so nothing can dig in and Sue Ellen can't dig out.

The roof is deer netting and chicken wire woven together. We have also had a few hawk attacks so we're not taking any chances.

Let me know what y'all think!

Adorable coop and set up! ❤️
I hope you are open to suggestions..... instead of chicken wire on the window, I would highly suggest hardware cloth. Chicken wire keeps the chickens from getting out but sneaky predators can still get in!
