Some of mine make quite a bit of noise before they lay an egg. Talking loudly and pacing in front of the nest boxes. Others not so much.
That poor OP will have a stroke if she gets a territorial hen who does the pterodactyl screech.

My hens get fairly loud if I do not get the kale out to them soon enough....They love their kale in the morning!

There is this weird green stuff outside. I think I remember seeing it before. It’s been ages. There is also lots of brown stuff.

I have a baggie of them from my previous cat however that was before Cooper who would be happy to eat them all and provide me with a huge vet bill.

I am sorry for the problems caused by the polar vortex. Here we get atmospheric rivers and loose soil to mud slides
