A SQUATCH WATCHER is a group of people who had been following a thread about a feral chicken, nicknamed a SQUATCH, after sasquatch, because the OP was the only person who had the *sightings* of the Squatch. So far, a roo has been discovered, but no hen.

Although us Squatchers keep yapping in the thread Ugly set up, I thought we could go ahead and move us more active SWs over here, to keep rambling on and on about our daily lives.

Well, I just got back from the post office with my box-o-chicks (and keets). I was supposed to get 5 lavender keets and 4 EE pullets.

I open the box, I have 6 keets and 7 EE pullets.

So, here's your proof.

Here is what the keets look like. My 3 week old Cornish chicks are scared of the little things and keep running away from them.

And here are the EEs. I didn't realize they were so FLUFFY!

Good morning guys.

Thing 1 grabbed one of DH’s bandanas this morning and asked me to “put on the mouth”. He walked around like that for 10 min or so. This is the closest I’ll get to posting a picture of his whole face until he is old enough to want his pictures posted.

Thanks! Not quite all that fat yet. Most of it is taken up in the 23 inches of length. I expect him to bulk up quickly like his brothers did.

I let the girls out of their run. After a week of confinement they still remember how to knock on the back door to ask for treats and get the cat all tatered up!

Just got the call from the Post Office that the chicks arrived and my mail carrier would bring them if I liked. I told them it was alright to bring them.
