Well, we just had the crap scared out of us. Had a ring alert about an active shooter downtown. Turns out someone was repeating a FB post they saw. Still don’t know exactly what’s going on, but there doesn’t seem to be anything on the scanners, apparently. I wouldn’t have minded if the poster would have used the words “allegedly”, “possible”, etc.

Been sick with one thing after another for I think 6 weeks now. But I think I'm getting over it all.

Got my first chicken egg today which is awesome. Also have my second generation of quail in the brooder and hatching lol.

Our grand daughters named the Marans we had in the beginning, but for the most part our chickens haven't been named.
