Organic feed recommendations?

What brand is this organic feed? I see they have Organic Pride (Purina) on the TSC website in select stores. Haven't seen it in PA yet, but it may make it here like Nutrena regular feed finally did. I mentioned that to the clerk & he laughed. They carry Nature's Best in my store for $18.99/10lbs. I have no idea who would buy that when many feed stores around here carry Nature's Best for $35/50 lbs.

So they are selling Nature's Best Organic Chick Starter for $24.99/50 lbs.? That's amazing. I wish they would do that here. It is much more at the feed stores. It seems it is more here than anywhere else & it's made in PA! Go figure.

I feel very fortunate to have an organic mill less than 5 miles from my home. Just picked up a 50lb bag of soy free layer pellets for under $27.00.  http://www.organicfeedmill.com/

Dang that is awesome!! Yes I can't believe in Dallas-Ft Worth Texas area there is NO organic chick feed! It's crazy!! I called our 2 closest feed stores and they practically laughed at me when I asked if they carried organic feed!! Geesh I told my husband it looks like we need to start at organic chick feed business!

Reedy Creek Organic Farm located in Elon, NC and on the web sells the real stuff, organic chicken feed $32.00 for 50 lbs. They recommend we feed the chickens one pound per week but we feed them two. They also recommend that you have the feeder trough high enough so they cannot see what they are eating and be picky.

Wow!! I actually found some organic feed locally!!! Yay!!! It's milled in Texas too, called Coyote Creek. I'm hoping we have some luck with it! It's just $35 a 50 pound bag. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow and see how the chicks like it :)
