Oriental Gamefowl Thread!

He is not a pure ganoi. The body and neck is slim, could be a Thai cross. .I bet he is 7.5-8 lbs at the max. He must be an old brood, not only the spur is long but the leg shank is already out of proportion.

I contacted the guy who is selling them he only got the rooster left for sale .
And he did get them from the Vietnamese guy I met .
The Vietnamese guy I met he got birds from 7lbs to 12lbs and he refer to his birds as Thailand aseel ( ganoi) he actually used the word aseel as ( pure) I think he does have a blend of ganoi and a little drop of thai .
Lol

Thanks gallo for the info. The info did not make any sense where Thai, aseel and ganoi terms were used wrongfully. I contacted the seller to ask for age and weight and he never responded. So .. case closed.

Do you mean "double wing" or you refer to "2 layers of wing feathers"? In the technique of selecting a good Oriental, many prefer multi-layers in wing feathers. This is based on a belief that more layers of feathers means stronger air lift when the bird tries to jump. This makes pretty good sense to me.
