Oriental Gamefowl Thread!

Those are all great looking birds Gooble. Those Thia birds are very nice.

PeterHer is the Tuzo in the bottom photo, is it a Hen Feathered bird?

On Tuzos guys where in the heck can I find info on SoP & lines? I have notes from Europe on their ideas about what makes a good bird but I can't seem to find anything useful in USA... I did find 3 actual Japanese breeds I suspect could be in them as the base... one is the right weight, and color but is a Hen Feathered breed that is most definitely not prawn tailed but I doubt there are any outside of Japan with only 200-300 estimated birds left in Japan.

Do Tuzos posses the Split Wing?

Hi Troyer. I have neither the time nor resources at this time to hatch many birds. I think I hatched around 12 pure Asils and 5 Asil Thai crosses. I only kept 3 young birds over. The character of those breeds is self limiting in terms of numbers kept unless you turn your whole yard into pens.
