Hi there. I am a new mommy to about 20 new chicks born Saturday. All incubated at 99.5 and 67% humidity on lockdown. One of my chicks got a prolapse overnight. I have gone ahead and separated it from the others but any suggestions to help this poor innocent baby would really be helpful. I have put some vasiline on it.

If it is a prolapse, it looks larger than most which most could survive. I would keep it moist with plain neosporin ointment. Sorry about your chick, but hatching chicks at home comes with a few possible problems.
