That bicoloured one is a bit odd. What's the texture? Smooth or rough? In the midst of soaring temps I got the best possible news: Tuppence is back on the lay!
I only have 2 white layers so 2 white eggs is conclusive.

How are my Aussie mates doing in the heat?
It's smooth with just 1 or 2 calcium deposits @ one end. It's pretty weird I agree. That bicoloured one is a bit odd. What's the texture? Smooth or rough?
Maybe the heat? I'm pretty clueless about this stuff but even though our temps have hit 30+C we have had a strong sea breeze ~ except for the day this was laid so heat/stress...? I don't think it can be diet. I'm pretty careful about that. How did it happen? Got any theories? Was it wthheld for dayI wonder?

How are my Aussie mates doing in the heat?
Hot. We're in the midst of our summer & the worst fire season we've seen in decades. So much smoke haze we haven't seen the sky properly in weeks. Been down the coast to the state border twice this week. It is smoke haze all the way. Dealing with broodies. A little hot weather & the BRs become besotted. How’ve you been Ribh?
