My Buff Orpingtons are 8 weeks old. All are doing great!

I’m pretty sure all but one are pullets. What do you think? Roo or pullet?

All pictures are of the same Buff Orpington-she’s 8 weeks old.

I've got some 8-week-old chicks, and by now a cockerel should have redder features and combs. Another way to tell is the legs. Most roos have big bulky legs, and you may also want to check for spur buds, though hens can have them too. I'm leaning towards pullet though.

So far, I do not see any differences in leg size. And on occasion, she can get a little bossy with the others. But that not uncommon with the other either. Hoping she's a pullet.

And yes, I agree with the red features. There's this little video on YouTube on BO. It was all about the comb & waddle. Here is the video: Video The BO's are 8 weeks in her video.
