Skye snuck into the pen with them during the rain, ate all their food and left. Yesterday she was laying outside of that door, guarding them - when I went to let them out she herded them right back in as I saw a wing tip in the sky. 6 hawks overhead.

Here are some of my flock. This is a beautiful black drake who is going to be Thanksgiving dinner for a family. No one wants drakes here.
The single black duck is Squirt. She's my littlest of the 8 week olds.
This third shot is someone who really just wanted to show off.
Fourth photo is my drake Drake. He's dad to everyone
Let me know what you think.

Miss Lydia, they are wonderful additions to a chicken flock. I was turned onto them by a fellow member here that lives not too far away when I asked for help adding a duck or two. I didn't know one duck from another and she suggested the Muscovy. She then in turn sent me to a lady near me who breeds them. Little did I know that there is an entire network of Muscovy ladies.....everywhere. Now that I have them, I can see why. For anyone reading this thread and interested in these great birds, hit up your local state thread. Ask for a little local help. It won't take long........

Ooops~! another Muscovy picture, how that that get in here....oh, one more thing, they love to pose for pictures.
