What’s the top hen? RH? Really good station on her. Yellow legged, right? I have a family of Cripple Tony RHs that are yellow legged and they are the good ones.

That hen is yellow legged. Thank you. She is a cross I made over the years. I don't really breed anything pure. I just select for features I like.

Nothing wrong with performance breeding or breeding for your wanted traits. I used to be- and still am scared to meet a blue or off colored rooster. They seem to cut so good. I felt like if I could get past the first pitting I was ok.
My only off color breedings are some black fowl I have.
