Snake!!

I just killed a copperhead in my flower garden!! My geese eat grass in that general vicinity and don't want them to get bit.
Has anyone had a bad run on with snakes and their geese?

Not yet, but i'm worried too. There's a black racer snake that likes to hang out in my back yard, it isnt venomous but its still a snake. So far, when I've seen it, my geese havent even realized it was there. And just yesterday when i took them to the pond, I saw 2 other snakes swimming near edge. They didnt seem to be that big, but I dont know what kind they are.
