Hello Swissmiss989, There is a small active group of West River poultry people on BYC. You might try looking under the thread "West River". It will get you the regional group.

I am here too, south of Hermosa, east of Buffalo Gap. Are any of you involved in the poultry club that meets in Rapid City?

I am an active member of the club actually. Im also working on a silkie breeding program so I got lost of em Lol I love the silkie breed

I am a teacher, and I think I left the bulletin on my desk at school.

When and where do they meet. I have had just hatchery chickens for about 6 years now, and am flirting with the idea to have some higher quality chickens. Something a little fancier, but have not decided.

We meet once a month at the west river electric association building out on hwy 44. Our meeting starts at 6:30pm and our next one will be June 15th if we are on track lol. Usually its the 3rd friday of every month.
