I got a British SOP and it has Spitzhaubens in it! Instead of paintings like the APA's, it has real pictures. I don't know if they are pictures of good birds though. They look a little scrappy to me.

I like the tail set on the male.. but I would like clearer spangles.. not so many spangles on the breast.. a few of the saddle feathers look a bit muddy? And those wings would be better if held up higher...

In general though... a good male.

I like the female more than the male...

DS got grand champ for his clay light switch plate. It's his Spitz hen, Poof Poof. I was hoping he'd put it in the kitchen, but he wants it in his bedroom.

His white eggs (mostly from Poof Poof) won blue, class champ, and grand champ. Then they compared all the egg categories and he won best in show.

The poultry champions

His new Spitz pullet got a blue ribbon and class champ.

They displayed pics of each kid with his/her birds and pinned up the ribbons.
DS did very well and also got the jr. showmanship award.
