Tailless breeds?

I want to start a new project next year where I would try to get the brahma or cochin look/body type, but with the tailless gene. Right now I have a brahma, cochin and silkie/brahma mix (all bantams) in with my silkies and if I get to expand my chicken area I might be able to separate my non-silkies into their own breeding pen. I think they would look adorable with their super fluffy feathers and no tails.
The most common mix in my area is an Araucana to any other chicken to get tailless offspring. Are there any other breeds that have the tailless gene?

Also can someone please explain how the tailless (not sure what the correct term is) gene works? Is it dominat? I saw a post on FB about a naked neck hen and araucana rooster. When they were crossed together it made a tailless naked neck hen.

My inspiration for this project is my wonderful Isabel bantam brahma hen Zombie, who is currently molting and lost her tail 😂

I believe it's incomplete dominant. Manx rumpies also have no tail, but they're almost nonexistent in the US.
Oh I've never heard of those. I'm not in the US, but I dont think they're in Latvia either. I definitely haven't seen anyone on my chicken groups have them.

I know this is old but I have some rumpless buff brahmas that were labeled Easter eggers at TSC. Two are rumpless , two have tails. I'm hoping they are an araucauna cross bc I didn't expect/plan for larger chickens that eat more than they produce lol. Some pictures attached.

All of the chickens in your pictures have tails though... I don't see any rumpless chickens in those pictures. Or am I missing something?

Maybe I'm wrong - maybe they aren't rumpless at all but two of them have shorter tails - the 2nd and 4th (in the front) pictured ones.
