While this picture isn't as old as some shared here, it's a favorite of mine. This is my grandpa (mom's dad) with all of us grandkids. Everyone is in their Easter best

Thanks. That's what it looks like. Summer of 1929 (1 yr) or 1930 (2 yr).

I joined a group on FB that was called..."You grew up on Bainbridge if..." it is an Island west of Seattle.
Any how, someone posted this picture of pre-school children in front of the school. I saw myself sitting there. I remembered being sent to the school, but I didn't go very often. But then I also recognized some of the other kids in the school, I grew up with.

It is funny to see yourself in a photo 50 years after it was taken.

My kids found some old photography studio pics of my little sister and me from back when parents intentionally bought the B&W photos because they were “artsy”.
My oldest daughter said “Wow, Aunt Lisa was sooo cute when you were both little!” My youngest said “Was this before color existed and dinosaurs roamed the earth?”
My kids have some mean streaks…

This is my mother when she was around six.

The small girl is my mother, and the woman is my grandmother.

You can see the faint glow shape of a Russian Orthodox cross. My mom said that is just how the photo came out. My grandmother was religious and her church was Russian Orthodox.
