The Old Folks Home

Have you ever thought about growing them on a trellis? Then you could get the vines up off the ground and even grow other things right up against them on the south side.

We have a string trellis up for the tomatoes. I suggested to my dh we might need something else for the other plants to raise them. He's not interested this year.
That may change next year. lol I can always hope.

Pigs are very picky eaters. Here in the delta, someone thought it would be a good idea to put pigs on an island to remove the vegetation. It did not work! The pigs refuse to eat a lot of the plants on that island. people feed them now so that they do not starve

Current articles say a group removed the pigs against the owners will

Really? My pigs ate almost everything I fed them. I forget what they rejected, it was years ago. The goats were much more fussy.

The pigs did not look to horrible but yes it has been years since I saw one up close
Why would pigs look horrible unless they were wild boars? I had guinea hogs and I thought they looked good. Came when I called them too. I must tell you some time about the pig rodeo we had when we sold them!

It was the plants on the Island not food brought to them. They were holding out for the goodies I think
