The ULTIMATE list of DUCK Treats and Supplements...

Thank you so much for all the information.
I am raising a baby duck, 4-5 weeks and waiting for him to get fully feather to release him back to the wild at the Lake. After he is fully feathered and can swim and fly... I hear it's going to be a long process visiting the same place everyday.... And on the day of release staying there all day long.... And hopefully He will want to stay there. I will come back to visit every day and feed him for several weeks.... It's a full time commitment introducing a bird back into the wild. I've done with the Crow and it was successful...he still visits and lives in the area.

I plan on visiting every day and feeding him treats let's see how long he will remember me.

I would definitely wait awhile before introducing back into the wild, you will want to make sure he/she can completely fly first.

Omg! I just fed my ducklings their first veggie treat of cucumbers and they’re obsessed! So freaking cute!!!!! Figured I’d let them make the biggest mess before cleaning their cage for the night!

Thank you for responding.... my Duck is 9 weeks old and almost fully feathered ...he is flapping wings pretty good now...i have tossed up a little into wind and he landed in water ok ... no flight yet...taking him to lake where there are more mallards. I hope he attaches to other ducks ....how do i get him to fly? Wait a couple more weeks? It seems like a fine line to getting attached to me which he is and being able to go into the wild...he eats sand and grasses and i plan on leaveing food everyday at lake. But anyone know when I leave him overnight and will he stay at place i take him? And stay with other ducks. I worry about this not working...any advice for his success?
