Too Much of a Mother Hen

Hello! New to raising chickens (as an adult; always had them growing up). Not new to eating them though, so I have that part down at least. Lol!
Hopefully, I'm not being to much of a mother hen and checking boxes too frequently, yet find it oddly satisfying to find those little treasures!
I'm sure someone will be able to set me straight soon.
