I've thought about a cow or two for a pet/calves/dairy. Then a steer to raise up for meat. To be more specific lol. And after about 9-12 months, getting a 2nd steer so we can have a constant supply of yearly beef.

Mini cows mean you can have more cows, and less milk and meat. It’s a great solution since you won’t need to fuss about storing/giving away the extra.

I have actually considered it! There are some mini breeds that actually still produce enough meat that would last us a year. My husband isn't a big red meat fan. But my oldest daughter and I love it. But the mini cows would be easier to handle I think for my little ones.

I do recall the minis where allot more money.
That said it was about 25 years ago I looked at the mini's.

Good morning everyone. I've been back to the lake a lot this week since I'm taking care of my boss's animals while she's on vacation. I'll dump some pictures now lol.
