Just curious, what software is the forum running now? A lot of the emoticons remind me of the ones we used back in my YaBB days.

Tell 'em you're a jeweler, eh :p
Do you know any other languages, or do you just specialise in Perl?

My programming days are long behind me. I used to do a lot of web and CGI programming back in the early 2000s. A lot of Perl, PHP, and SQL. But marriage, a career change, babies, more babies, getting older, EVEN MORE BABIES, and so on, and it all just kinda faded away. Now I've finally caved and bought the wife chickens after years of her asking to have some, and here we are. :D

Thanks for satiating my curiosity!

Sweet. Congratulations on finally caving---now you're doomed to spend the rest of your life building more coops for your wife. :lau

Which is a great feature, but kind of scary.
With the old system, you could go back and edit a post. It is not much different from removing a post. The only difference is now you will not see that there was a post.

There is a form that pops up asking the reason for removing the post so I imagine someone sees that.

Yeah, that pops up, but you don't have to enter anything. ;)
