Oh he got a lot lighter! He's handsome! These are the photos I was sent of him:

He is lovely. Looks like chocolate cuckoo, could just be the lighting in the photo. The red comb and wattles is common in cuckoo Silkies. It still considered a project color.Hi, this is probably going to be the last update for the blue one. He's very pretty and I really like his posture and overall feminine look, but due to his extensive loud crowing at very early hours in the morning, I've decided to re-home him. I wanted to check of anyone could give an accurate answer to what color he is.
I'm going to be putting up an add for him soon and I want to mention the color that he is. He has barred neck feathers and streamers. The Stripes on his wings have a brownish hue. He looks like some kind of blue cuckoo. No silver yet besides some in his wing feathers. There are also some faint light brown markings on his wing feathers.

Or they weren't in the view of the camera.I agree, he looks like a cuckoo. I still have no idea how tho. The woman I got his egg from didn't mention she had any cuckoos. I didn't see any in the pictures I was sent either. Maybe she got some later after the photos were taken?

That appears to be another Cuckoo silkie.Possibly. I actually noticed another younger chick is getting barred feathers. I got that one from the same woman. This one is the only possible pullet in her batch. The other 4 look like roosters already. This one is the smallest, keeps her tail down, no wattles yet, thin legs. Comb is getting a little pink, but I'm hoping that's a cuckoo thing, not a rooster thing.
Apologies for the bad photo. She won't stand still.
