What is my rooster doing (video)?

He seems to be yawning, a lot? I have checked his throat and rearranged his crop and there are no blockages or anything out of the ordinary. He eats and drinks well.

Something is irritating his throat. Did he consume dry feed immediately prior to episode filmed?

He sure did.

He has stopped now anyway. He does it every so often, perhaps he just needs to drink after his food.

I see such when very hungry birds get into crumble. It may sound counterintuitive but add whole corn or BOSS to diet to clear his throat.

Try whole corn. He can handle it just fine.
