Whiting True Blue x Blue Splash Marans Chick Coloring

What color feathers will chicks have if I breed my whiting true blue hen (the blue and brown one in the photo) to a blue splash maran?? TIA

Blue with brown bleed through would be my guess. Splash bred to pretty much anything produces blue. You've got blue with brown leakage, so I think you'll end up with some leakage.

It might also produce splash chicks now that I think of it.

Splash bred to other colors produces blue as only 1 black diluter....but you've got a splash bred to blue...so 50% splash as 2 diluters and 50% blue as 1 diluter inherited.

Still think some brown bleed through possible.
