    I was too chicken to go out in the rain today and check eggs. Think I'll try to dodge raindrops tomorrow. My girls do not like to be in the rain and wind. Where are you located?

    Oh no!! Are they free range or in an enclosed run? I am guessing free range. i’m so sorry. It is so hard to keep these animals alive.

    They are in an enclosed run, fenced all around, with a coop that has a small fully enclosed (roof too) run attached. I had, up to now, left the coop door open so they were able to come and go freely. No sign of fence breach.

    Just came in, and no girl appeared. I closed the others in, in the coop/run so they won't be out at daylight. Yesterday, I had to reclip one's wing, she had gotten out by flying up to the run roof, and walking over the coop roof to the yard. That was the second one to get out.
