Update: I took a cloth with warm water, and I managed to get the poop off her vent area.I just noticed this morning that my one chick has poop stuck to her bottom. I put probiotics in there drinking water yesterday. Does anyone know if this is a common occurrence?

Sounds like pasty butt. Make sure the brooder isn't too warm or cold. Temp in one corner under the heat on the floor should be around 88 degrees for the first week of life. The food and water on the cool side of the brooder. They need areas to cool off as well. Probiotics will help with pasty butt but change the water daily and mix a new batch. Keep tabs on the vents to make sure they stay clean and open. Enjoy your babies!Update: I took a cloth with warm water, and I managed to get the poop off her vent area.
