Us hurricane corridor folks wouldn't be without one. My only current problem is my well has a separate electricity source and a separate gas generator that's a pain. So for just thunderstorms we are still in fill the tub mode.

We’re going to run into the same issue, and our well is several hundred feet from our mobile home. (The well was drilled before we bought the property but was placed where the original owners were going to build a house. We put a mobile home on the other side of the property so we can still build a house down by the well area in a few years.)

I think my husband has a plan to power the well with a temporary set up that he can hook up when we lose power, but I don’t think it’s to code We have lots of animals that depend on that well for water so I don’t care. Summer isn’t the time to lose water around here, haha!

yea it is for the room mr baggins. his winter quarters. we had a snow storm years ago before I had him I was with out power for 2 weeks. funny they do eat turtles here mostly snappers. not me yuck.

Sure he is about 7 years he will top out weight wise 100 lbs.

He’s a cool looking turtle. When do they stop growing what age? Does he have a buddy?

ha he is going to out live me have to leave him in my will. I am not sure my be another 10 years. tortoises don't need buddies if I put one in there he would probably kill it.
