Forgot to post the picture below! Spring definitely sprung here in West Virginia: On Sunday i heart the Geese flying north and Tuesday evening the wild Mallard pair from last year returned and used the floating island in the pond:

Okay guys.... I've had it with the pekins! The amount of food they eat/refuse to let any other bird eat and then demand MORE FOOD and not lay any eggs. I could have quieter, prettier, less hungry birds in their spot. Like flamingoes.

I'm actually selling the rest of my pekins today.

I'm sure I'll have more by next winter though, thanks to people who bought them when they shouldn't have and then call the feed store to find someone to take them.
