You can use kitten formula as a milk replacement.

Bunnies only nurse twice a day, sometimes only once. There should be directions online for fostering bunny kits.

Without any way to estimate the size of these birds on the pictures, you could claim that they are Mallards. Would there be another breed of ducks in between, it would be immediately clear that they are much larger than Mallards.
