Hi Everyone, yesterday to my disgust i noticed one of my hen was very dirtty so i picked her up to look her over and ................she was crawling with lice ..i believe them to be chicken crawling lice , they were yellowish lice and there was pea sizes clumps of white egg clusters at the base of her feathers, poor girl . i have been keeping chickens for abou 8 years and never seen this before. I have checked the other 3 girls and there is no sign of lice on them. What product is best to treat these things they are horrible!! many thanks

Try Sevin Dust.
I usually dust them with it every now and then, make sure to get vent area, under wings, and neck around waddles.

Pat the butt,neck,and under wing area with sevin.You could also use a flea tick spray that has the same active ingredient.
