Hi, thank you for this informative article. I was going to buy a treadle feeder, but am reading on BYC that mice manage to open them. So I found your article, and ordered the bags, ground corn cobs and the cinnamon chips. I have the ground cloves, cayenne pepper and peppermint oil. So for less than the price of 12 of those bags, I can make multiple bags. Thank you so much! Two questions, do you place them on the ground? They do not bother the chickens?

Hi. No, for the coop we toss a couple up in the loft. You could also hang them if you don't have a loft, but I wouldn't let chickens have access to them. Nothing is poison, and I highly doubt they'd peck them, but I bet they'd only do it once! I just didn't want to take chances.

Clearly states dosage, and I followed your directions and mixed Medistatin in water. It worked well. The only thing that might be helpful is what to expect after giving the medication. Does it work quickly or does it take a while to show improvement? Thank you very much for this information!

These are great suggestions. I am going to try the remedies, a few at a time. I already have straight oregano oil and wonder how to give in water, also wondered if the droplets diaperse in the water. I will figure it out!

Also aloe vera is a new one, and I have some growing in pots. Will try.

Thank you for taking the time to type it all up and and share. :)
