A second birthday card, my brother's this time:
And I was looking through some of my old calendars, which, by the way, can make amazing reference photos! I have some from 2015 😂 Anyway, I found a drawing I have a love/hate relationship with. The paper is way too small, but I already started...
The fading wasn't intentional, my reference photo only had that part of the horse in it, so I had to think of something that didn't look awful fast :lau
I haven't been drawing much, but I really want/need to get back into it. I'm planning to make another drawing for fair this year, but I have to compete with the adults now :hit
Anyway, I made this for my dad's birthday. It took me about an hour and I honestly love how it turned out.
I haven’t been on here in a while, but I was looking through the recent posts, and came across this. It’s so good it looks like a photograph. You have some serious talent, @StinkyAcres!
And done! I don’t completely like it, there’s something about the ears that bugs me, but overall I’m pleased with how it turned out.
Edited to add: Her name’s Duckie.
My horsie through her various stages, to completion. I’m surprised I got done so soon, but then again, there are about a million and one minor details that can be fixed…🤪

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I have little rubber bands on my pencils, so I can more easily tell which ones they are. I have a set, and they all look the same except for teeny tiny letters near the top that tell the hardness of the graphite. I don’t want to...
Just for fun...two drawings of the same picture just over two years apart. The differences are quite striking. I've probably already posted these, but the side-by-side is something else. Just a reminder not to give up! You will get better if you practice.
A Mother’s Day card :)
I just tossed this guy together in a couple of hours, and he’s a bit off, but I’m out of time. He’ll have to do, and I think my Mom will be happy anyway.
